The distributor has the FOMOCO logo on the inside.Once cleaned up, the oil was changed and the motor was primed with lube from tool and a drill. The 3 x 2 still has the factory hoses and band clamps used back then and everything matches and still has the air cleaner gaskets in place. The radiator hose have Ford part numbers on them and all factory hose clamps are in place. The big FE andcomponents are factory intact, even the exhaust system from the cast iron headers. The odometer shows 11322 miles and is believed to be original. We plugged the hole and proceeded to steam clean. ![]() The dual point distributor was out of the block and on the front seat looking like it was being repaired. We got the car to the shop and after a little cleaning it became apparent what we had. The car was parked in same place for 41 years and was last tagged in 1970.
